Why does this Substack Exist?
To share what I have learnt, what I am thinking about and to try to entertain
The world is drowning… in noise.
The great Foxes once sang
"If our love is tragedy, why are you my remedy?
If our love's insanity, why are you my clarity?”
This is why Serviceable Insights exist.
Since 2018, I've been an extensive note-taker, journaling everything from book summaries and business lessons to reflections on life and culture. My journey through various roles in investing and software companies has equipped me with a wealth of insights. Some have expressed interest in my perspective on these topics, and since they're not all dinner party conversations, this platform seemed ideal.
Who’s This For?
If you’ve ever felt like mainstream thinking is lazy… if you question why things are the way they are… if you believe the best ideas are usually just one level deeper than the obvious ones, this is your kind of place.
What You’ll Get Here:
Eclectic Insights: While you'll notice consistent themes around business, investing, health, or book reviews, my taste ensures a diverse range of topics. If you want a hyper niche newsletter just focused on one thing, you’ll be disappointed. I like to write about what I’m thinking of at the time
Practical Takeaways: My main goal is to impart something I've learned onto you, offering perspectives that cut through the B.S. (which are ironically my initials)
Engaging Content: A mix of storytelling, research, and strategy you won’t find anywhere else (or at least not as funny)
I don’t have a specific end point in mind; I want to have fun, and I hope you will too. This image below sums it up well.
I’ll be releasing 2-4 posts per month, completely free for you to enjoy. By subscribing, you're indicating that you're curious about learning alongside me, which motivates me to dedicate more time to ensuring you're both educated and entertained.

I think you can call it "Plato's Digest".
