New York is worried too. Most of their tourists are from abroad.

Well. . .The loss of tourism will sink Florida more certainly than the ocean rise which will cause a surge in demand for waders. Ask the small businesses there if they care.

It’s mostly the liberals who find it important that the US be a tourism destination. That’s why more liberals travel to Europe and other countries. The majority of Americans don’t care if canadians or Europeans come here. Canadians and Europeans have allowed their country to be high-jacked by muslims and/or liberals. The rest of us are just trying to save what’s left of our country.

I would argue that, while the loss of tourist $ is small to GDP in the US, the effects are felt locally in touristy towns. Therefore the pain is acute not general.

Anc of course those people are also voters.

Definitely. Many of these places are fully reliant on the influx’s of tourists each year so even one weak season can be detrimental.
